A new Twitter profile layout launched, which it means it’s time for you to do some brand/account spring cleaning. Here are the top 3 things you need to know about the new design.
- The interface is much wider and therefore your header and logo will probably need to be altered. The logo should now be 400px by 400px and the header 1500px by 500px.
- You can now pin tweets to the top of your profile. This is a great way highlight some key content you tweeted, for instance a recent blog post, an upcoming event, a sale, or some other important item.
- There are less customization options. You’re theme color choice from the profile sets the link and highlight color, and the background color/image is now only used when looking at specific tweets and when you look at other displays other than your profile.
As an example here is the @CrowdCG profile before and after. Good luck updating to the new Twitter profile and happy tweeting!
